(WIP topic)

Hey guys. Here's the release of my Death Watch Bunker 2.0 map that I was really eager to get out. There's nothing new that I haven't posted about it in the WIP topic, so if you like what you see, please give it a download and play away. If anything, at least try the campaign. Thanks. :)

Code:
ENDOR: DEATH WATCH BUNKER 2.0 - by AQT

What it is:
----------------------------------------

This is a map very extremely loosely based on the Death Watch Bunker from Star Wars Galaxies.

Read more about it here: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Death_Watch_bunker

Information:
----------------------------------------

This map is only playable on the Galactic Civil war era. All sides/units are custom.

Available modes are:
* Conquest - Empire versus Death Watch
* Campaign - Play as Captain Archer, a non canon Imperial Storm Commando, as he carries out an operation for the Empire at the Death Watch bunker. This campaign is an homage to the greatest Star Wars first-person shooters of the 1990s (mainly Shadows of the Empire and Dark Forces).
* Hunt - Death Watch Wraiths versus Ewok Slave Miners
* TDM - Imperial Scout Troopers versus B1 Security Droids ("sniper war")

Features appropriately randomized environments

Installation:
----------------------------------------

Extract the DWB folder from the archive into your Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\addon folder. Deleted it to uninstall.

Note:
----------------------------------------

Map will show up as just "Death Watch Bunker" on the Instant Action list.
If the campaign is not the first mode to be launched from the Instant Action list, then there will be an absence of music during its gameplay.

Credits:
----------------------------------------

A very special thanks to RevanSithLord for writing a good portion of the campaign dialogue!

Sorry about the GameFront problem, guys. I've reuploaded the map to MediaFire, and it should be the main link in the first post now. Thanks for your interests!

Spoiler (I guess):
Hidden/Spoiler:
You could have been a bit more clear on how to get out of the bunker at the end of the level. I ran around looking for a terminal to deactivate the last shield door for about ten minutes before I finally gave up and quit. The rest of the level was great, though.

Lots of fun, but...more spoiler??

Hidden/Spoiler:
How do I deactivate the stupid shield??? Loads of fun, but seriously. I wandered for 20 minutes. It happened after I killed the little ewoks

The campaign does require a bit of thinking at some parts...
Hidden/Spoiler:
Yay, the "I-don't-know-where-to-look-next" frustration homage is working! :D

Warning: Spoiler alert ahead!

@The Nasal Abyss:
Hidden/Spoiler:
You were very close to finishing. I was being unclear on purpose; I didn't want it to be that easy, and the challenge was to figure out how to exit the bunker completely by yourself. Hint for you: Somewhere in the command center.

@MrCrayon:
Hidden/Spoiler:
You seem to be the first to be completely stuck at this objective. Very interesting.... Anyway, hint for you: Chase scene from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.

That's certainly a great improvement from the first version. Fantastic job on the campaign scripting, AQT
After finishing the campaign I told myself "IF only there was a sequel :(".

Seriously?? WIN?

EDIT: Ok, so I got past that part and then everything went smooth from there. Props on the well placed...uh...props.

Anyway, I really enjoyed how clean the map played out. It really wasn't cluttered, and I love the custom sounds. Only nit pick is the sudden blaring music coming from my speakers. Other then that, I absolutely enjoyed this wonderful map and it is now a keeper. Thinking of expanding the imperial commando series? ( *cough* *cough*, CORUSCANT!)

lol, jk, do what you want. I was really impressed with your quality of sides too.

That was pretty good, especially the campaign, the use of custom music was fantastic! It does resemble the old school SW shooters in their crypticness and their first person shoot...ness, it also reminds me of Mavertichell's Rebel Ops a little, what with the hidden extra-lives and such. Oh, and I loved the boss battle. :D

Nice job AQT, RSL and everyone involved in the project, you guys did great!

I failed the campaign mission somewhere around the third objective, but the little bit of the map I did experience before then was great! I love campaign missions, so I'll be sure to give it another go, along with the rest of the modes.

The map was fun to play! The prop placement is nicely done, providing great cover (especially the Hoth hanger area). The second entrance was rather "out", for lack of a better term. it does its job of preventing chokes greatly though.
Hidden/Spoiler:
The campaign was well done. I loved how there were little things that could ease up firefights, like those hack-able turrets (although I did not like the ones that could respawn). The mine shield part was the only place I got stuck in until I read one of your hints. The boss fight was fun, and it was hilarious when the boss blew his own guards away with that oversized thinganimajig.
This map is a keeper!

That 'oversized thingamajig' would be the Stouker Concussion Rifle. ;) But yeah, it is quite hilarious.
