Coming Soon- Methlyn Ruins Version 1.0
Now that Methlyn is working again, I'm finishing it up. Expect some new units like the Geonosian Engineer, re-done Clone Medic, and the Imperial Officer (SWBF2 style) courtesy of Kyross. Also, Commander Cody will be taking the place of Mace as the Republic Hero. Here's a list of changes that have been done so far:
1) The elevation has been tweaked to look more organic and natural. No pointy hills or artificial-looking slants.
2) The music has been changed. Now you'll no longer have to listen to the default Tatooine music.
3) Foilage has been decreased (mostly bushes) to provide the player with more visibility and to decrease any minimal lag players experience.
4) New objects have been placed, including a new building.
5) More textures have been placed over areas that are less detailed.
6) Some object placements have been fixed so that there aren't any floating objects.
7) Underground trees have been moved.
8 ) Textures have now been blended to provide a more natural look.
Now for the list of things to do:
1) Add capital ships to the sky.
2) Add water to the empty canyon.
3) Sky file fixing.
4) Create a mini-map.
5) Make a movie for the Instant Action level selection screen.
6) Unit renaming.
7) Sides (Kyross is doing them out of the goodness of his heart )
So...I hope you're looking forward to it as much as I am. You can expect it around the first week of September. Key word is around. Thanks for your time!

Sounds fun. To tell you the truth I was extremely impressed with the first one but I also had 3 other maps to test waiting for me so I never went to in depth. I'll definatly make sure to give this one a try. I voted blue. I love blue troopies.

Funny, I considered putting a link to the previous version for anyone that missed it but I thought that might have been a bit too much. Apparently I should've followed my hunch. LOL
Looks like new skin is in the lead followed by red and blue.
By the way, does anyone know a way that I can help pilots get to turrets they have a tough time reaching? If so, I'd be really thankful if you could provide that info and you'd be in the ReadMe of course.
