Hello Everyone, after doing some modding on ModDB, someone recommended me to come over here and join. I've have used this place as a guest before for finding certain tutorials and assets, however I have finally decided to join! So hello everyone!

Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
Hi everyone, after gaining interest about modding my SWBF2, i found this forum thank to jedimoose32's tutorials on youtube. You're helping me a lot so i thought it will be nice to help other beginners like me by posting here. By the way you're maybe noticing it right now, but i'll sure make mistakes while posting here, the reason is that english is not my native language, so please excuse me if i'm not always clear.
And what about me ? Well, i'm just a 16 years old (i know i'm young compared to you) student who discovered SWBF2's modding several weeks ago after a reeeaaaalllly long time not playing it (i played it on the PS2 in the 2000's and i bought it recently on steam). My favourite era is the Clone Wars and my favourite Jedi is Aayla Secura. I don't have a "serious" mod project right now, but i'm learning while making a Felucia map.
What to say... What to say... Well, i think i said everything, i hope i'll have a good time with you guys !

YO! It has been an AGE since I posted here. This was like my favorite place on the internet in high school. Now I've graduated college, have a job, a house, a car, and still no girlfriend. Oh well. I'm making beer though, so that's fun. Also, am getting BF2 again because some friends wanted to play so I'm going to hook them up with all the best mods. I've forgotten so many though, so if there are any favorites I've lost to time I'll take any and all suggestions.

Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
I haven't posted here in a little while, mainly due to a lot of things going on. You see, I've been pretty sick the last couple of weeks. What started with an abscessed tooth and an infection led to me getting really sick last week on Wednesday and caused me to throw up all day. Went to the ER and on early Thursday morning I got my appendix removed, so I'm in heavy recovery. I just thought I'd let people know I'm going to be back, but just hovering around really, like usual, but wanted to let everyone know I am okay.

Glad you’re okay RSL and got the appendix taken care of, hoping for a quick recovery.

@RSL: Don't you even think about dying until you've released something! Jokes aside though haha, glad you're recovering and whatnot.

Haha! Thanks. Yeah I was going to get back to DD soon anyways and get a couple map releases out (now that I have a chance! No more surgeries this year, I hope!).Marth8880 wrote:@RSL: Don't you even think about dying until you've released something! Jokes aside though haha, glad you're recovering and whatnot.

Also thanks, Nate!

Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
I was just talking with some people about how funny it is to see GT mentioned out in the wild these days...like, I was there when so many of those legendary mods were being made!
Figured I'd pop in to say hi for old times' sake. My last post was what...two years ago? I can't believe my account is over ten years old now. Or that this thread still exists after nearly as much time. Or that the "GOOD things that have happened to you" thread is still going, and still has the same emphasis on "GOOD" to counteract the "What grinds your gears?" topic that preceded it ages ago.
Hope everyone is doing well. Maybe I'll come say hello again in a few more years.

Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
So SWBF2 was on sale on Steam, and I may have bought it. So I might be coming back soon if I have time. I've learned a lot since I last touched SWBF2 so hopefully I can transfer some of this knowledge to some sort of script in SWBF2. I'm not entirely sure what I plan on doing yet.
It's crazy to look back on here and realize that I joined these forums when I was in sixth grade, and now I'm in college. It's great to see that these forums are still active and that this supportive community is still going strong.

Always great to see you back here, bud.
I feel ya' man. I joined as a 15-year-old wanting to make a map of my neighborhood park, and now I'm working with the former president of Rockstar North. Funny how things work out, eh? Nice to see you, Eggman.
I'm kind of just posting to say that, for those of you who surely miss me so much... that, no, I'm not dead and I've not forgotten my most recent projects either. I miss modding a lot and SWBF2 is still my go-to Star Wars video game experience. I finally figured out how to use ZeroEditor shortly before my WinXP died, and since then that's been useless.
I was also busy with school and have had a hell of a job lately, so that's interfered.

Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
Hello everyone, I just started modding BF2 about a week ago and since I come here a lot for tutorials and such I figured I'd make an account.
