Rest in peace Christopher Lee. A WW2 veteran, amazing actor, musician and wonderful person overall. He shall be sorely missed.

He was one of my favourite actors in the Star Wars Movies. It is sad to hear that he died. RIP.

Sad to hear about the plane crash that has killed composer James Horner, whose music can be heard in Star Trek II, Titanic, and Avatar.

Rest in peace Satoru Iwata. Any hardcore Nintendo fans should know him, but he helped develop Mario and Legend of Zelda.
Taken before his time, he deserved better.

Re: The Gametoast Obituaries
Absolutely unbelievable. So many people I know and love have died this year of 2015. Christopher Nguyen, Monty Oum, Edgar Froese, Christopher Lee, James Horner, Satoru Iwata - and now, yet another fellow marching band alumni of mine, Josh "Peaches" Gilliam. I didn't know him very well, but I know he was a great kid and performer. Rest in peace, all.

Re: The Gametoast Obituaries
We have the first celebrity passing this year. Rest in peace David Bowie.
EDIT
I don't usually bump but I want to say RIP Alan Rickman. What a bad way to start 2016 for celebrities.

I've held off on this because I would have been double posting, but RIP Anton Yelchin, who died a week ago aged 27. You may know him as the young Pavel Chekov in the new Star Trek movies.

If you ever played one of the old Need for Speed games or heard the Afterlife Club theme in Mass Effect 2 you know who he is.

Re: The Gametoast Obituaries
Is that questioning why I'd be saying that, or are you agreeing with the sentiment? Because I did edit in the news piece that states that she has suffered a major heart attack.Marth8880 wrote:Right?ggctuk wrote:I'm really, really hoping I don't have to write one out for Carrie Fisher in the morning

I really hope she's okay, as my friend put it, "may the force be with you Carrie Fisher"
