Re: I have some extremely sad news...
Thanks for your condolences, Wulf. I appreciate it. We're going out now to bury the body in the pet cemetery on my grandparent's old land. I will return sometime later. I again thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Peace.
Peace.

This is the one time I've hated the censor, kinda makes this awkward. Rest in peace, Mr. Clark.

R.I.P Eduard Khil.
At least you lived long enough to see that you gained new fame from that night you nervously went on stage and sang nonsense because the lyrics were too controversial.

RIP to the guy who got his face eaten in Miami. I actually did pray for him.
And another RIP to Eduard Khil, aka Trololo man. I hope you're ha-haing and ho-hoing in heaven now.

Rest in Peace Ray Bradbury, author of Fahrenheit 451 and the Martian Chronicles. You were a pioneer in science fiction, and were no doubt a driving force behind much of the culture we enjoy today.

Re: The Gametoast Obituaries
RIP to Ajax (not giving out real name for security reasons), my best friend since 2007 (actually I think 2006 to be more accurate). I attended his wedding back in September as best man. He was pretty much my brother. I just got the message earlier. I immediately called his wife and she explained. Initially I only knew about him being care lifted from an accident and even that scared me and I feared for the worst. And the worst happened. I'm probably not going to be talkative to anyone for awhile other than her, the rest of the circle, and my parents. Of course I will perform my work duties as needed and I will be nice and courteous, but I will explain what happened to my co-workers, and I will be optimistic.
First my grandpa in '08, my dog a few months ago, and now my best friend....
...you guys wouldn't have known him because he didn't register here, but I thought I'd still mention him. For those of you who have heard of the name if I tossed it around, now you know. I don't know how to act right now. Tears are flowing uncontrollably and I can barely type. I honestly don't know what to say, what to do, how to feel. I just want the death to stop. I know I can't control that, no more than I can control the suns of Tatooine from setting (as Shmi Skywalker kind of said regarding change, I was just modifying the quote), but this is the kind of stuff I don't need right now. I had JUST gotten peace from my grandfather's and my dog's death. Just why?

Re: The Gametoast Obituaries
Oh Revan, I am so sorry. I really don't know what to say. That's horrible. That's just straight and honest horrible. Car accident? You don't need to answer that.
I know I speak for the entirety of Gametoast when I say we're all very sorry this happened, and we all support you and wish you the best of luck.
My thoughts go out to you and Ajax's wife. I can only imagine how my grief you and your friends and family must be going through right now. To have her husband taken away from her like that, so soon, I feel nothing but compassion. Few people know this, but I'm a hopeless romantic, and I believe in true love and all that. I'm so sorry.

Re: The Gametoast Obituaries
Thank you Yuke and Wulf.
Yes Wulf, it was a car accident. Their SUV flipped. Apparently got side-swiped by a car. She ended up with a fractured foot (I forgot if she said it was her foot or just her ankle, I'm still in shock and thus I only process half of what people say to me), but for the most part she's fine and she said she didn't understand why she was almost unscathed. It's almost a freak accident if you think about it, but it also depends on which side of the car got the full force of the impact and the angle, but I'm not going into that right now.
But I'm glad she's fine. If I had lost them both, it would have torn me apart even more, but there's little to no use worrying about the what-if factor. I JUST started working at Wal-mart, so I don't know how lenient they'll be on me going up there. We'll figure something out, because she and I need each other right now to get through this. I don't know what will happen now, but the best course of action for us is to be strong. Now is a time for mourning, but there will come a time where it is no longer appropriate.
This is a post I wish I was not making, but alas here I am.
Thank you everyone. Thank you Gametoast for your ongoing support of me as friends.
