Kamino map textures

Post by dev0lved »

Hi Guys,

I've been working on a few of the stock maps and ran into an issue with kamino. The platform details all seem to be some sort of white transparent overlay, specifically the files:
  • kam_bldg_rails.tga
    kam_bldg_walkwaysides.tga
    kam1_bldg_plat1.tga
How do I find the texture used in the underlay?

There are *lowrez.tga versions of these files which are seem related, but they are a VERY low res, can anyone shed any light on how the underlays work?

Thanks!

Dev

I have trouble seeing Kamino textures too, if you're talking about while in Zeroeditor.

I take the textures out of msh folder, when map opens in ZE, all objects are white/solid color so you can see them. When done mapping, place textures back in msh folder, then munge. This also helps ZE run more smoothly on my oldish computer.

I've noticed the thin bridges and walkways to be low-rez while in-game is using a new kam1.lvl but have been to lazy to search for a fix.
