How do I get SWBF2 textures? [Solved]

on the created directory, there aint no directory called DDS, so i can open the textures files

Sorry, but i don't find a usefull dds editor, none of those 3 you sayd work for me, can you say other one plz?

Use the exractions application at the begginning of this topic.

Once you have the skins extracted in dds format go here :

and download the adpbe ps plugins. Once thats installed you can mod/edit/open all .dds files in adobe ps and resave them for inport back into swbf.

If those tools dont work for you just google "adobe photoshop dds plugins"

Also there is not way currently to get skins from swbf2 back in to the game as they are comporessed with archive tools that we are still working to de-crypt. so all of this information is just to get the skins out and modded. Hex and Tools usage for editing skins and models have been unsuccessful as far as getting them from the game , modding them and putting them back. As of yet :)

I can see the texture on my picture viwer, but i cant EDIT it, cuz i dont have photoshop, is there a program like photoshop to Edit the texture?

Use XnView to convert your *.DDS files to another format, which will be able to be loaded in a common pictures editor...
