Snapping the Camera Off the Player

I wanna snap the camera off the character and onto a node or something then snap the camera back onto the character - I know it can be done through the lua or something , who wants to give away the secret !

Lol , Yes cutscenes
I want to make mini cut scenes when my assault on theed map ends - just like EA's battlefront - also I could use this to maybe make a better intro. You know how to do it don't u Marth ... don't worry u don't have to give me the secret if you don't want to man. Although if you do I will add your name to the credit list for cutscenes !
