Addon mesh disapears [SOLVED]

Hi, I tried to attach the darktrooper jetpack on the stormtrooperluke model. It works till i jump with the jetpack. While I make a jetpack jump it disapears. Can someone help me with that? I tried to hexedit the addon mesh to the stormtrooperluke model. I used this tutorial: http://www.gametoast.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=21955 But i didn't get it.

That is by design. The addon mesh is supposed to disappear when you hover, thats how the geonosian wings work. You will have to add it to the mesh either with hexediting or by using softimage.

Yeah, I tried both ways 3 to 4 times and it I didn't get it work. I hope someone can help me with that or has another alternative.

Omg MileHighGuy thank you. You Are genius! I took the geonisian wings as jetpack effect and replaced the msh from the folded wings with the jetpack msh. THANK YOU! WOHOOOOO

I'm happy that you found a solution, but it really would be better to just add it to the actual player model.

I know. I'm not satisfied it looks weird because it's an effect. I tried to hexedit it 4 times like devis said in the tutorial. I don't know what i'm doing wrong. Or there is something diffrent then in devis tutorial. That is so frustrating.
