I'm guessing by "story" do you mean the flow of events ?
(defend the mtt, destroy the juggenaut tanks, destroy the pipes)

This conquest mode will offer classic conquest gameplay - NOT story driven . The units will have those now and improved updated 3d models and LOOK like EA's battlefront BUT it will play just like the old conquest with all the old unit counts weapons etc !

I recently purchased EA's Battlefront II, so I have some more suggestions for the map.

- I noticed that the specialist's sniper rifle can kill units with one shot, and in EA's BF, it takes more than that (about 2-3 usually)
- The officer's grenade launcher (which I assume is supposed to be the Barrage ability), has way too much damage, it can destroy AATs in 3 shots.

(These suggestions are based on EA's Battlefront II BEFORE THE RECENT PATCH so it may be different now as I haven't played it yet)

Could you add more than one attack for the mtt. Like a more explosive shot that doesn’t have to direct hit to kill?

Not to be rude I didn't really like your clone officer face as it didn't look like Temuera Morrison. I've posted a few photos of my clone officer texture using i2Bros first order officer 2.0 model. If you want I will upload the texture of just the face.

It is great to see you are really anxious to play these mod maps Lorul1 & others are working on. That being said, you need to understand that it takes months, even years to release mod maps for the most professional modders. Most of these modders have important things to do such as school/college, working etc. Believe me, I want to see the release too but I try and be respectful & not ask multiple times what new things have been done, that will be shared in due time.

Yes I know it takes time. That’s what I meant is he said it would be soon. I got a reply and it will be about 2 months. I have release some maps myself. All I’m saying is I’m hyped! :wink:

Venator - the maps spawns will move three times , once when the beach is taken Once when the MTT's are in position, and once when the juggernauts are taken out. after the first spawn moving starfighters will become available for bothe clones and droids, droid ships will be on right side of the behind the turret emplacements. I will have fake star fighters flying 24/7 however !

Progress is being made on this map but yeah I know we were probably expecting the public release to be sooner but yeah just keep waiting and it will be here before you know it - I mean we all got to play the early alpha of this one and honestly It's not going to be to far different from the public release. I don't want to spoil to much here with new pictures and everything SOOOO hang tight guys and I will have more news and some sweet reveals surrounding details on Mos Eisley, Hoth, AND the new and improved Naboo coming right around the corner :thumbs:

I love how u said on moddb that the maps will be in seasons which is really cool :thumbs:

1. Are u gonna make a forum to put everything together so u can just post updates there without having to deal with these separate ones?

2. Will u be addin anymore seasons if Dice adds more maps (Clone wars season is coming) or are ya gonna just stick with 3 seasons?

3. Are u gonna have Harrisonfog edit your maps and make it look nicer like what he did with his Realistic maps?

Waiting for Theed to be done and its taking so long :( I guess i'm just too hyped :thumbs:

Can't wait for this to come out Lorul1! I've been following this map here and I've even been watching the Tatooine pictures you've been posting on Discord. I got a few questions.

1. Will you be changing/adding a new HUD?

2. The Boba Fett you're using looks really cool, but can you use the textures from the original Boba? The new one looks sorta clean, the old one looked dirty and the colours stood out well (Although I'm not saying the current one is bad)

3. If you're adding a Hero vs Villains mode, can you make it so the Max. Unit is 1 for every one of them? It's sorta weird and silly seeing 2 Vaders on the battlefield for example (Also happens when you unlock the Iden Versio easter egg, one Iden on each team)

4. Will you be adding new stages to Naboo's Galactic Assault like take over the Throne Room and the Security Systems once we get the Theed update?

Thanks, and good luck! I've never been this much excited for a mod :D

1.I do hope to eventually change the HUD to match EA's game

3.Okay ... Ill try to just add one hero and one villain ! I will probably increase their health to compensate

The theed update will look like this :
Galactic Assult - plays out just like EA's battlefront
Classic Conquest - plays out like a classic battlefront 2 conquest map , using the new character models but the old camera a weapons for some classic gameplay
Heros vs villains - We all know what this is lol this will take place in that room with the purple tubes ... where the darth maul battle took place.

No new stages for places like the throne room or anything like that because I like keeping things all together ! ... I mean conquest needs to be on a smaller scale then what I have now so in theory the boundaries would need to be a lot smaller so that the player would actually engage in combat - so right now im not sure if conquest will include the palace AND the streets or just the streets ... ya know what I mean ... maybe I will make "conquest streets" , "conquest palace" who knows we'll see when I get there.

1. Eventually I will probably make a discord or something or just make one big thread for all my maps here on gametoast.

3. thats a pretty good idea ! I mean i wouldn't mind if harrisonfog went through and really detailed up everything (of course according to battlefront 2 EA) once I release the next update to these maps.
I plan on releasing the beta for all these maps together - with some closed alphas in between for you guys !

2. I probably will as long as I have the assets to do it . I'm getting better at 3d modeling , (slowly but surly) But even still I'm only one guy so i will probably be able to make a lot of my own things but still its a TON of work.

I will only be recreating as much as I can do until I decide its just to much for me to do

These things take time . It can take YEARS for mods of this scope to come out in 1.0 release think about it I'm recreating a WHOLE GAME lol . Something tells me these maps will never be truly finished 100% and polished up - If someone else wants to do that I will make my maps open source once I decided to stop - but these kind of things eat up sooooo much time.
I kind of just do modding as a hobby I don't plan on doing this YEARS into the future to make some sort of ULTIMATE conversion project. I mean i am surprised at how well I'm doing now ! i started in Q4 2017 and i already have 4 maps in an enjoyable playable state ... they are not done but they get the point across and you can have fun on them ! So i am zooming along quite nicely id say and right now it looks like Ill have season one done mid to late march (thats not a 100% yes ... but thats what it looks like)

My future is on youtube , like that's what I love to do is youtube with my friends - so eventually this modding project will come to an end. When EA makes battlefront 3 I won’t be converting those maps and even remaking ALL of battlefront 2 ea ‘s maps once all those expansions come out isn’t 100% practicle for me ...
after I’m done this project I will definitely be around ya know , like GT is my home , so ill be around to help people and answer questions and maybe do little mods here and there but 3 , 4 , 5 years in the future that’s what I’ll be doing - just youtube and not both modding and youtube like I am now.

As you may know there is a great modder named El-Fabrico making his BF3 Legacy mod. I noticed when playing his Dantooine map that he has some very nice models for AAT and MTT. They look great and they are very well polished. I am also learning to make models myself and could (if I learn) help you with this project.
