Nope, CommandFlyers can do tricks just like normal flyers. I think these ODF lines have something to do with it:

From the stock LAAT/i (can't do tricks)

Code: Select all

TrickRollSpeed = "0"
TrickFlipSpeed = "0"
TrickSideRollStrafeSpeed = "0"
[...]
RollRate                = 1
From the stock V-Wing (can do tricks)

Code: Select all

RollRate = "3.15"
[...]
TrickRollSpeed = "5"
TrickFlipSpeed = "5"
TrickSideRollStrafeSpeed = "30"
It seems like it just needs values for the speeds. I suppose the rate defines how many times the flyer rolls.

Shield Overload - Lua Weapon

Shielded unit can convert the shield power into an EMP. The strength of the EMP increases as the amount of shield increases, and the ability uses up all the shield if it hits anything.


Things left to do, new activation animation, maybe some performance tweaks.

Um, ok...

So uh, I had (yet) another go at balancing the Z-6. I just copied the spread values from my Phase 2 Darktrooper's cannon, seems to not be OP now, so yay!

Good, it's hard to keep a weapon balanced but still retain some of it's real-world (if you could call it that) characteristics. Good job!

Finally got this SMG model finished off, unless I want to extend the muzzle a few inches more forward...

Looks really good, high quality work.
I would agree with extending the muzzle out an inch or so, looks a little short given where the trooper holds the gun.

I agree, it looks fine while being fired with but a little short when holding it in the idle position, maybe extending it a centimeter or so would help. Nice job on the model by the way! :)

It's amazing how well, with just a few tweaks, a modern SMG looks in Star Wars.

I started revamping my magnaguard, so here's a video showing the new combination of stock anims for the main attacks.

I have since changed the player model to the one used in tuskencamp and made it easier to switch back and forth between attacks and spin.

Still need to adjust damage values and other performance, and make a sound effect set, and adjust the spin anim

Thanks :)

I thought my previous version looked too boring, yet was too powerful. Today I cleaned up the .combo, so both ends trail, more appropriate damage is dealt, attack states also block, and changed the model to the caped one. Just need to set up some new sounds.

Yup :)

There's a couple other things I gotta clean up though... I'd kinda like to let the guy move slowly while spinning, but it wont animate its legs as walking, even though i have the spin anim named as upper... I can't seem to figure this one out....
