I agree with you Glitch.

And I think it is possible to make a nice one using the wampa model with a few retexturing work. And then use the animations from some jedi, since according to this picture they use sticks as weapons, so their poses should be quite jedi-like. However, I don't know how to do this, so it would take some time to learn.

Well, I'll see what I can do, if I do something about it at all.

Actually I recently downloaded a Talz asset that looks pretty good.
If I remember correctly, I found it on swbfgamers.com

EDIT: Ah yes, here it is http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?act ... w;down=850 Although like most of the files on the site, I'm pretty sure it's for SWBF 1 not 2, so you may have to tinker with it a little.

Hmm, thanks for this.

AQT also sent me a possible Talz unit. It was a reskinned wookie model. I'll will compare it to this new one and see which one looks better.

UPDATE

I know it has been a while since the last update, so here we are again. Lately I've been working solely on scripting and today I finished the Clone Wars Campaign mode for the map, featuring 8 objectives (at least until now).

Below are two pictures showing some highlights of the CW campaign mission:
Hidden/Spoiler:

I Also added to the campaign missions a special soundtrack, from a game which I really appreciate the music and think some of it would fit well in the map.

Aside from that, I also added the following Two of Mav's Dark Times' modes. VIP and Control. I'm planning to add Wave later too. These two modes will support the stock CW and GCW, BFX CW and GCW and of course Dark Times'.

Now that the CW campaign mission script is done, I'll start working on some sound implementation, localizing, the Wave mode, tweaking the just finished CW campaign script as necessary and getting ready for the GCW Campaign Mission.

Let me know what you think of this update and feel free to leave suggestions.

It's looking great, you've really refined the environment of this map, and it looks absolutely stunning.
I'm really looking forward to the new game modes (especially that campaign), I've always enjoyed maps that having something other than conquest included.
Keep up the great work

If I could suggest a mode to add:
Attack/Defend: one team controls a certain amount of CPs, another team tries to capture them within a time limit (or you could limit reinforcements). I'm adding this to stock maps in my next mod, but I think it'd be cool to see how someone else does it.

I always love maps with a good campaign. I really like all the little things done from what I can see in the photos, like the blue barrier shields.

I made this nebula in Gimp awhile back, it's not the best, but maybe you can use it

Thanks for you willingness to help Solous, but right now I'm not in need of this. But maybe others might find it useful. Either way, you did a good job on the nebula.

And a little update:

Today I started adding support gunships to the CW campaign. They're like the ones that help you (or not) in a few of the campaign levels. After some hours trying to get used to the animation mode in ZE, I managed to get some of the animations working.

Here's a picture of one of them kicking some droid butt

Thanks. The screenshot is amazing! And it looks like you made the gunship work better than in the stock campaign. Nice work, can't wait to download the 2.0 version

All right, after staying away from modding for a while I've got some new updates for you guys.

Tonight I've just finished implementing locutus' HQ mode to the map. In short, the mode consists in destroying the enemy HQ and protecting yours. Like all the other modes (except wave and the campaign missions), HQ will support all the Alzoc 3 - Blizzard's supported eras, Dark Times 2, BFX and of course the stock CW and GCW eras.

Below there are some poorly taken pictures (sorry, I was in a hurry) trying to show each team's headquarters.

Is that a turbolaser?! Does it fire or is it just a prop?

The base in the second pic could use a bit more snow splattered on it. I love the sky in the 3rd pic. :)

I agree with fiodis but those turbolasers look awesome with the snow textured on! :) Maybe don't use the cis ones though, they just don't fit well (In my opinion).

I also though a bit about that. I have another turret for the CIS in my "arsenal" but I wasn't sure which one to use so I kept the turbolaser from before. here is a picture of the new turret in place:

This one turret also appears in the campaign. It is an auto-turret but we can easily make it pilotable if we wish.

Which one do you guys think fits better? This one or the turbolaser shown before?

If it's an autoturret, keep the old model for the turbolaser. If you decide to make it pilotable, then I'd use the models in your last post.
