Yep. All you need to do is make the _exp of the vehicle do damage (by default it is set to zero). So when the vehicle dies the building (or any units nearby) will take damage.

It is possile. The remoteable predator rocket can destroy a whole building just with one hit but it wouldn't make sense if flyers are able to fly into buildings to destroy them. They are too massive and the flyers are too small and weak/slow.

Anyway I improved the Millennium Falcon a bit and added a cockpit to it. As said before I added some more, colored buildings to make the overall looking to look more like Coruscant. I still need to add some more custom sounds, flyer splines (I hope that's not going to be too difficult as expected) and then I can finally start with the last era.

You should check out Sereja's Millenium Falcon:P He released it on swbfgamers: http://www.swbfgamers.com/index.php?topic=7839.0 It's much more detailed with fully functional turrets, detailed cockpits and pilot hard points, engine effects, and even has take-off/landing gear animations.

I see you've posted some adds finally on the map, you're on the right track. We need some more colors to make the map feel alive and not bland, don't be afraid to go overboard with ads and colors, at worst, you can delete ads or colors if there are too many.

I know it was discussed previously that there were issues adding different species in the streets due to the game limit, but would it be possible to add inactive, different types of species sitting down inside the buildings that are more for looks and an immersive feel for Coruscant? A good example of this is seen in Rend's past Mos Eisley Spaceport map with the cantina filled with many different character models similar to the movie.

Well, there's an object limit, and if he exceeds that, the game crashes or does not load. He already stated that he has problems with adding higher-poly models.

I never said that the turrets on my falcon wouldn't work functiunally.

Thanks for the heads up Hunpeter12, I hope my comment didn't appear redundant. It was only a suggestion and hopeful solution to having different species in the map. :oops:

Hey guys,
this is going to be my last update. I didn't change so much. I improved some weapons, textures etc.
New things:
-I finally got flyer splines working (Thanks to Locutus)
-The map now supports Heo Assault Mode
-Added more adverts to many skyscrapers
-Fixed some bugs

What is still left to do:
-Localize
-Third Era
-Maybe custom music tracks but still need to over-think it

Now i can see the images :D This is looking very great so far. I can only repeat what the other users already said:
There is too much grey. It's all the same color. Mabye you can change the textures and the ambient light. There was someone who made realy great HD Textures for Hoth. You could ask him for some city textures.
Your map looks a bit like the first shots of the cato neimodia map. There were wide and one colored path, too. But now it si looking much better. You should have a look at the progress of this map and maybe you get some ideas how to improve you one as well.

About the sky: Of cause blue is a nice color, but i would love to see something like this:

Third Era Update


This is just a small, additional era. There are not so many units like in CW or GCW. There aren't spaceships either. But I think it's still fine and fun to play. I still need to add some flyers.

Now it's working.

Edit: Got all the flyers working except of the X-Wing. At the moment I am having a weird texture bugs. But I am glad to tell that the anitamtion fits perfectly to the newer model. Anyway here are two of the other flyers:

After I got the last flyer working, the last flyer spline fixed and localized all weapons, vehicles and characters then I can release this map.
