it's interesting allthough should be some changes:
there are to phew units on the field. should be much more on the field mostly normal battle droids and more jedi
a phew droidekas
if you can try you should add the ackley and that 3 horned thingy

Who said that...? :wink: do what you can, MasSky' :P maybe you can even talk with Teancum about getting the arena like that..? :)

looks great :P but should possibly also have some more units as said before.. :P and maybe some LAAT's flying around in the background - maybe one or two which flies around as Local or something. or maybe trigger a huge force of Clones from the air after XX seconds in the game, or when the Jedi's reinforcements are getting low (which means also adding more tickets to their count) :wink:

Nice!

It's..workable. It could be oodles better, though. Like, the seats. Need to go higher up, and the roof's texture is Oo

Even in the arena there was variation in terrain height. Not alot, but right now it's...boring.

It would be sweet to have the ability to go up onto the seats...right now it doesn't seem very probable considering their height. Needs Akalay. Too bad there aren't any Reek or Nexxu models done...maybe there are some from JA/JO?

Also, pillars. You need those three pillars. And geonosians. Oh, and their respective vehicles.


I'm under the impression that this is a rough draft. :P

But it's an excellent start, I'm really llooking forward to a Schizo-type-gameplayed-map!

Looks cool but 3 things.
1. try to add and acklay and the 3 pillars.
2. more units and jedi should be on the field (as said before)
3. as a jedi it should be possible to jump in the place where the seats are.
ooh and ps: is it possible to creat a reek???

I should point out that this was only to test Clone Wars assets. I'm not going to go all out on this - it was just to see what scale things were on and whatnot.

Now to respond to comments:

-As far as units goes, there are already 50 CIS and 22 Jedi. I'll up it again, but I don't want to push the engine to far
-As far as the Acklay goes --- I might do that. I might also add non-playable 'hero jedi' like Aayla, Mace, Anakin, etc. I'm not going to bother making them playable. Again, I was just testing the models to see if they worked.
-LAATs didn't show up until the end of the battle, so they're not going to be in
-The three execution pillars are already in, just not in those screens
-Every pic of from the movie of the arena shows it to be completely flat
-The textures, stands and models are just assets from Clone Wars and so that's why they look terrible. Nothing I can do to fix it.

Just a slight worry concerning scale, maybe it's just the screen shots but in the backgroud the units look absolutely miniscule in comparison with the arena entrance.
Also, pillars. You need those three pillars
Not certain but I think that might be 2 of them in the 1st screenshot and 3 on the left in the 2nd, either way I think it's looking to be a good exciting map.

I guess the one thing you could say about the comparison between the droids and the Arena entrance is, if you remember those two large beasts had to make their way out into the Arena itself, so they had to be able to fit through the door. Hence the reason why the entrance door looked so large. Later

Tean', if you can convert these models from the Clone Wars game, would it be possible to convert player models like Anakin and Obi-Wan or even the Dwarf Spider Droid?
