I'd like to see the rifle fire rates increased, and the shotgun fire rate and reload slowed down. Remember, on the shotgun, it's not semi auto, it's pump action, and 5 shots have to loaded manually, no magazine.

changelog v2.1.1:

-make fire rate and reload rate and damage of shotgun stock
-make fire rate of assault rifles slightly faster than stock
-implement random weather and lighting

I think the normal sky as is now and then a rainy sky and normal fog cloud (not dust cloud) would suit the map best. 2 random weathers. If you want more, shout.

The default map is a sandstorm, just not a very big one.

Really love the sides and the map is a good play area to test them in, but it feels like it's sort of lacking. Don't get me wrong, I had a lot of fun playing it, but I would really love to see the map improved. It's small and the areas are a little bland and repetitive. I think a field or two and maybe a little more green in general could make the map really interesting.

I'm not saying making a full on Battlefield style map but I do think the village could use some oomph. Still, really fantastic job! I'm really excited to see what you do with this.

I will not be editting the map itself further, sorry. I am trying to make a battlefield-style map though for my next snowy project so you will enjoy that. I agree the map is repetitive. I will try not to do that for future projects.

OH MY GOODNESS. :runaway: :eek: :bowdown:

If you were to just add some more game modes (like ask razac920 to give you the gun game mode script) some melee (knifes and tomahawks (I have an idea on how to make those)), and a new sound effect at the end to say something like "Counter Terrorists win" (from Counter Strike) I'd literally be willing to pay money for this. There's just something about playing this in 1st person with a game controller that feels amazing. Really nice work man! Hope to see more! :thumbs:

Thanks for the kind words! I'm almost done 2.1.1, enjoy that soon! I could have tomahawks for the terrorists and throwing knifes for the USA side setup as ewok spears! As for gun game mode, sure, I can model a lot of different guns and use them, then release them to the public! :o What order should the guns be in? At the moment it would be:

RPG/SMAW(1)
pistols(2)
smgs(3)
assault rifles(3)
lmgs(2)
sniper rifles(1)
frag grenade(1)
throwing knife/tomahawk.(1)
All weapons have unlimited ammo.

The number indicates how many weapons there would be. For instance, the player would start with a pistol then get a more advanced magnum then move on to 3 different SMG's and so forth.
It would start easy with a n00b tube then get harder and harder. I can look for voice overs record my own! :o and then just mess with things like pitch and what not (can this be done in audictiy)? Then, and only then, shall my map be perfected!

1) I highly recommend not giving all or any of the weapons unlimited ammo.

2) Yes, Audacity can change the pitch of audio; it can do an overwhelming plethora of things. Just try it out and see.

Quoted for agreement. Unlimited ammo, especially with things like SMGs and Rocket launchers can get a little ridiculous...

alright, will do. QFA, lol, thats like the only time I've seen someone on GT you QFA (quoted for agreement). frags and knifes will be unlimited though, or at least knifes. Frags may have a high limit, but still a limit.

Something like this might be cool:
  • Knife (give it an arch when throwing, like thermal detonators in the stock game)
  • Tomahawk (give it more distance, but still an arch)
  • Balistic Knife (basically change the wrist rocket of the super battle droid up, which means no arch)
  • Glock (or any pistol, you could also do a revolver than something with a mag)
  • M-14 Assault Rifle
  • Ak-47
  • SPAS-12 Shotgun
  • Sniper Rifle
  • Rocket Launcher
  • Flame Thrower
  • Mini-Gun

I personally like my order better. It is similar to battlefield 3 ( I love that game soooooooooo much!)

IMPORTANT EDIT:

Due to school, and other factors beyond my control, I will NOT be implementing random weather or gun game mode into THIS map. Both WILL be in my next map: Earth: Apocalypse. Thanks for understanding!
