Hi! This is a Beta of my Winter Assault Map. I know it says v2, but that's the BETA v2. This is my very first map, so please help me out a bit!

I know it's FileFront, but it's the best i can do.

Features: Episode 2 clones, Marines, CLoaked Anakin, crates, Techno Union ships, 4 cps, CTF, ONLY PLAY CW!!!


ONLY PLAY CW!!! GCW IS SO BUGGED, IT CRASHES!

Whats the title/abbreviation for the map supposed to be when the player is selecting maps?

I downloaded the map but cant find it in Instant Action.

gee, i dunno.

Also, the v3 beta is in the works as of tomorrow.

I have discovered the following bugs-

Techno Union ships-Won't Show up, i'll fix

Improvements for v3 BETA:

Jettrooper Riflemen- (Like the ones in the Kamino Campaign)
I will eliminate Galactic Civil War
The droid's hero will be Grievous, most likely
Anakin Cloaked
A few wampas running around, maybe? If i can learn how...
Some customized weapons
Taun-Tauns
Spread out Cps
Speeder Bikes, possibly
Medium assault vehicles, possibly

I'm a newbie at most of this, so this most likely won't be released for a while. :cry:
I'll try hard, though, and thank you all for being so helpful!

My ModTools just died in front of me... I'll have to re-download it, and i'll need to start v3 from scratch... :cry:

When I saw that Topic I was´happy - for I thought this would be a WH 40k map.
But then :sad:

Mhh, after seeing the screens I suggest the following:
Put in some hills and cliffs and give the republic heavy weapon trooper a grenade launcher instead of the missile launcher for the Clone Marine can fit the role of the anti-tank unit.

you should do at least some more work on the map, then just texture the ground and move a few cps around and change the troops >.<

Suggestions:
- Add Wampas
- Add hills and mountains
- Change skins (snow maybe)
If you could do these, it would be great :wink:

Warhammer 40,000. It's a tabletop strategy game. Look it up on Wikipedia.

O, like those maps. Well, I'll try!

My ZeroEditor Hates me. Whenever I place an Object larger than a crate, BAM! it dies.

It's coming along, but how do I edit which weapons the troopers have?

*Update!

My ZeroEdit is agreeing with me! Yay! Also, I have removed the vehicles- The map is too small to accomadte them, and they are to powerful. I have removed GCW completely, so the progress is going fine. It should be done maybe tonight if i don't eat...

Maybe you can make all clones carry Galactic Marine/Clone Commander armor.
The different classes can be distinguished by some markings.
Clone Marine: -ordinary-
Clone Heavy Trooper : - shoulder pads, blue markings-
Clone Sniper : - red markings, snow camo-
Clone Engineer - yellow markings, some republic symbols-
Clone Commander : Bacara(heavy trooper) skin, no changes.
Clone Jettrooper : no changes.

I remember seeing this submitted to filefront but when i played it it was a plain flat map with only a retextured ground. Thus, DENIED!

And the title got my hopes up too.

Does that mean u removed it from swbffiles?

I think u need more then just new units in a map. U need hills and stuff in it. Maybe buildings if u want, but dont just make flat stuff. I know your trying do i dont mean to be mean. Im just giving suggestions.

No mc. That means it was never uploaded to swbffiles. Empty maps do not get processed, by me anyway. There is a filefront hosting system though that anyone can use filefront without it being on swbffiles.

I know, the entire map is a little odd, and for some reason, the terrain and techno-union ships never showed up-no idea why though...

I'm working on v3 BETA now...the terrain finally showed up, so now it DOES have hills, and a large hill in the center. What i want to know is; HOW THE HECK DO I PUT A CP ON TOP?

Also, how could i have enemy wampas going around the map?
How could i change the trooper skins (Reps) to Marines? (Clone commander Skin)

And how do I edit troooper's weapons?

Like I said, i'm a noob at this...

Aah, another 40k gamer. I think OGEB1103 had a concept for a warhammer 40k map [link here]

Hills not showing up ? Now this is strange. Even I could make a hill.(This is past !)

and Maximus, I think the documentation about sides will help you alot.
