Post by jojo3450 »

So I'm adding a tube from a helmet to a oxygen tank on a back pack. How do I make the tube stay connected to the helmet and the backpack? Do i merge it with backpack and/or helmet OR do I envelope it to the back pack and the helmet? and If i do envelope it can u show me the steps

I would merge it with the helmet and the backpack, and then envelope the bone head and rib cage going down the tube from 10,90 20,80 30,70... Etc

Ah, are you recreating the Magma Trooper, by any chance?

By "10,90,20,80", he means your tube should have weight values something like this when you weight it:

bone_head|bone_ribcage
100.00 |0.0 (this is the points that are attached to the helmet)
90.0 |10.0
80.0 |20.0
70.0 |30.0
And so on and so forth until you get towards the backpack end of the tube:
20.0 |80.0
10.0 |90.0
0.0 |100.0
