X-wing t70 mesh problems

Post by icemember »

Hello. I assuming this is the correct place to post this error.

This x-wing is enveloped using the stock bones. I added a GroundDummy due to it standing upward when appearing ingame which fixed that problem. How ever when standing upward it appears intact.

It fires properly.

My new problem is, this is how it now appears ingame after adding the GroundDummy.

I think this is related to your mesh's skeleton's bone transforms (in the ship's MSH file) being inconsistent with the basepose.

Tried freezing, re enveloping again. Still same problem. I also placed the bones inside the mesh. No change.

Any more tips or suggestions is welcomed.

I did suggest to him to freeze the transforms, but it seems like this problem is really persisting and being a pain. He may just have to use two versions of the model where one has its S-foils open and the other closed until this issue gets resolved. But any further help on this would be appreciated. I tried searching for an answer to our problem, but couldn't find anything solid.
