Imported object not ingame [Solved]

How to create models in XSI and other 3D applications and make them work in Battlefront 1 & 2. Post models, tips for application usage and share anything XSI, 3DMax, SketchUp, etc.

Imported object not ingame [Solved]

Post by Kingpin »

Hi, I've made an object in sketchup (two cubes stacked) and followed the tutorials below to get them working ingame. When I exported to a .msh, it shows up fine in mshviewer, without textures in XSI, but not a sign of it ingame. Does anyone know why? Cheers

Make sure it shows up in zero, if it doesn't maybe its the .odf file

I can get it in zero just fine, but the textures appear to be gray.

The texture if the object, is it a .TGA format?

Hm...Try exporting a simple cube created and textured IN Xsi to see if texturing works fine for you at least. Just add a simple privitive cube, apply a texture (just as a test) and see if it is ingame. If yes, then there must have been a conflict with your model conversion. If the textures still don't appear you must have done something wrong. Which version of XSI do you use? Do you use ZeTools or Pandemic exporter?

Ah. Dumb mistake. My sides were flipped in Sketchup, were blue instead of white. Thanks for the help, guys.
