XSI assistance please.

So about eight months ago I started making animations they've come out okay, but they're not great, there's still clipping issues with transition animations, although the arms bending through themselves was rectified.

The big problem is really that they're the wrong scale, they're the right height but the limbs are too long, so given that I'm better at it now, and they need overhauled I'd like to redo it, shouldn't take more that two months, even with life stuff going on.

The reason they're the wrong scale is because I can't get XSI to work, (So I imported the skeletons as objects, and then created bones for them myself) I don't know if I'm not looking in the right place to import .msh files, or if there's a problem but I extracted XSI to the place I should, and there seems to be no change.

If you can assist please let me know, or know any XSI tips.

Thanks.
