Stretched Textures on Model [Solved]

Post by MissingTexture »

Having another issue when it comes to texturing a model from scratch. Everything looks okay from the front of the model, but when I move to look at the side of the model, it comes out stretched and pixelated.

Any reason as to why this is and how I can fix it?

The idea behind UVing is to cut your 3d object up so that the whole thing will lay flat like a virtual sheet of paper.
It looks like you only have planar projections applied to one side.
