What you want to do is use a boolean operator: http://download.autodesk.com/global/doc ... Meshes.htm

thanks for the help but sadly IT CRASHED, and when I tried to re open the saved thing it just says "venator 1.exp could not be opened" :x :x :x :x

this is not my realm :cpu:

Is there like a way I can draw the 4 points connect the dots and just cut ?
and If no how exactly do I do this without it crashn on me ???

EDIT:

okay I figured it out - to all you people like me who dont know how to do It I selected the whole thing then went on over to modify on the left side of the screen then poly mesh the used the knife tool to create a bunch of "edges" aka lines ... which I then deleted ...

I feel like this is a crude way to do this but ... YEAH
Thanks marth for trying to help out (:
If anyone want to add anything or tell me about a simpler way I could have done this please do so

also if you use my method you may need to also do this: http://www.gametoast.com/viewtopic.php? ... 40#p514240

You can use the split polygon tool or add edge tool. It won't cut through the whole model.
Later you can remove unused edges and draw them the way you want.
