Deleting temporary bones without losing repositioning?

Post by Teancum »

I've been following Ande's Character Enveloping tutorial (specifically part 2, as seen HERE), however when I delete the nulls I have set to reposition the arms they return to the positions they were before. How do I do this so that I can keep the positioning and line it up with the actual SWBF skeleton?

Solved this. I enveloped, made adjustments, then when I did the rotations to line up my model with the default jet trooper mesh I clicked on Freeze and Freeze M (in the bottom right under EDIT). Once that was done I deleted everything but my newly imported mesh, enveloped again, and the model was correctly set up. I obviously had to adjust weights here and there, but this solved the issue.

Thanks to Raigiku for the tip!
