Scale chart for modeling

Post by Raingod »

Ok i was looking everywhere for this but couldn't find one. Is there a scale chart for modeling stuff for BFII, and by that i mean like 1 BFII Unit = 1 Meter or something like that. Cause right now i have nothing to scale my stuff to.

Its not a very good scale, but you can compare everything with a command post object.

Indeed, our modeller says 1 unit is 1 meter, for everything (characters, props, effects, etc.)

Not that it needs confirmation (coming from the devs themselves), but I did a test on this and can confirm that it's that way in Maya as well. A default poly cube scaled double in height is about the same height as a trooper. I've got one in my scenes I drag around to compare scale to my models, taking into consideration that droidekas are slightly wider and wookies/magna guards are slightly taller.
