Yes. According to this report, Windows 7 is nearly 5 times more secure. :)

EDIT
Thought this was funny. This guy, who is on the front page of Microsoft's Security Intelligence Report, is using a Mac. :P

Lol, Apple pays people to use their products in these things. That's why they're ALWAYS seen in movies and junk.

Of course he's using a Mac in an illustration for a Microsoft article talking about evil hackers doing dangerous things.

As far as I can tell, that's a stock photo used on a Microsoft website. Apple didn't pay to get itself onto the Microsoft website via stock image.

Yeah, yeah, I know. I'm more explicitly talking about in movies, but whatever, shameless promotion, right? Maybe...

Kind of like every single other instance of product placement ever. It's called advertising. That's just good business. Businesses don't exist to be feel-good, honest role models. They exist to make money.

But of course. I think Marth is simply pointing out that Macs appear in TV shows, movies and other such media a lot more than PCs, despite the fact PCs are more popular(fact not opinion). Also, Apple does spend a crapload on advertising, which is part of the reason they cost so much.
