Sweet FX enhancement

Post by JimmyAngler »

This is something I have had for a long time and absolutely love it. I don't know how to tweak it that much but It makes your BF2 soooo much better. Just extract the files to C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData

Warning: will take a long time to load the game! I don't know this stuff enough to figure out why but be patient, it is worth the wait.

So it increases the contrast and puts a vignette around the edges?

That's what I got from those pictures.

If you want the list of stuff it can do here is the settings thing for it. I just have mine set like that.

There are also a lot of things that you can change by pressing shift+enter in-game, but I don't know how to do that stuff.

Edit: forgot to mention it is fully online compatible.

That's what I got from those pictures.
Not to mention that it sucks all of the color out.

I really like the effect you made with this mod. but it takes really really long to load, and for development i need to load very often. Also only the menue was changed and not my ingame maps /sides. and i haven't found where to change the settings. So i'll have a look at this after i finished modding ;)

Yes, if anyone who has downloaded this could share their own settings and tweaks, that would be wonderful. I can't seem to get it right.

Is that only for your custom map that it doesn't work?
also, try messing with the editor when you press shift+enter.
Lastly, check the "toon" (set to one) and run it again (that makes the biggest difference, I hate it).

Edit .maybe try putting all the files here :

Maybe something is overriding it because it works for my custom one.

mh still doesn't work. i put everything in the virtual folder and nothing changed. i put everything in the gamedata folder and only the menu changed. i put everything in both folder, and it's the same result as before.

Someone an idea?? i also downloaded the latest Version direkt from Guru3D (primary Europe download link) but i only can tweak my menu :runaway:

It goes in the GameData folder. Also, you have to make sure in-game anti-aliasing is turned off.

I'm confused about the installation, do you put the folder into GameData or just the contents of it? When I put the contents in it crashed, but when i put the folder itself in nothing changes. What do I do exactly?
