Do you mean frames per second??
Buy a new monitor and graphic card that supports higher FPS.

Or do you want to speedup your game in multiplayer (ping)??
Use LAN instead of W-LAN, use better LAN wire, get more speed from your internet provider

Increasing FPS in specific games can be done on an individual basis. On option is to look up "LowSpecGamer" on YouTube. That person is a master at getting games to run well on old hardware, but sometimes the look terrible. The idea behind their channel is that individual games sometimes have expanded options hidden in files that you can turn on or off -- these are things not meant to be turned off as they detract the visual quality.

That being said, is there a specific game we're talking about?
