check the volume from the desktop. Go to a megaphone like icon and double-click that and make sure the volume isnt muted.

If that isnt the case than make sure the speakers r attached correctly.

The only thing left i can think of is that the speakers or something related to giving off sound is not connected to the right connection slot.

FIXED!

I figured out I accidently uninstalled my sound software/hardware. I looked all over the net to see how I could fix it. At the end, I ended up using the CD that came with the motherboard the sound software was there :D

Thanks anyways moncalamaridestroyer

Off-topic : SkyHawk, although your problem seems to have been properly worked out, would you mind giving me the exact References of both your current Motherboard and Audio Card / Integrated Chipset ?

Thanks in advance !...

My sound is a Realtek AC'97 Audio for VIA (R) Audio Controller. I have no idea how to check what my motherboard is, because I dont know how. I remember it being an ASUS something >.<

Off-topic : In my opinion, you will obtain the different details you need regarding your ASUSTeK Computer Motherboard thanks to either Lavalys Everest 2.20 or SiSoftware Sandard Lite 2005, SkyHawk...
