moved topic to correct forum , kinda. Also in my view MSN is the virus , lol. I would never use anything related to it , if my paying clients were using it lol.

lol. It is in the correct area. I never accept any invites from people I don't personally know. Though guru, you did make an interesting point. could it be that windows is a virus and the programs that destroy it are the anti-virus? Food for thought. :P

Thanks for the warning. I'll keep and eye out for it.

Off-topic : I assume that this thread has chances to prevent a few GameToast members from becoming as much "embarrassed" as you were, WaylandJr, but I would wish to know whether the latest Releases of Microsoft® Windows Messenger could block similar threats, as a free Antivirus Module can be grafted to this Program... :|

It's the user's fault for clicking on an unknown link, not Window's.

If you are not sure if the virus completely downloaded, you should scan your entire system.

It could be joke like the 1 on xfire a few weeks ago.

The 1 on AIM was real though. That 1 infected u and infected people on AIM users' buddy list.

the ones on MSN should still and always be considered real! :o because they CAN infect you and not like the one of Xfire where it said that the user were a virus - lol

Off-topic : Alright, before letting this Discussion freely continue, I would like you not to share either advices or opinions which might be more or less "obvious" toward most of the users registered on these Forums, moncal', additionally to the fact the Amount of such messages remains too much high compared to the global one you have reached on this Message-Board...
