Ive never seen that problem, out of the year ive played the game. I dont even understand what It is saying. I would actually relay that to the EA customer support. It seems like a simple problem, and they actually respond to you.

Actually, such an Issue seemed to be so "Simple" and foreseeable that it was even mentioned inside the "Read Me" File attached to Battlefield 2 Demonstration Version, as stated by the content of the following Excerpt coming from the concerned TeXT Document, while remindind you that this problem may equally be related to your current Firewall's Settings :
ERROR MESSAGES

The following are error messages you may encounter when playing
Battlefield 2. Listed alongside the message is a suggested cause.

[...]

- Message: Could not resolve connection manager host name
Cause: Please check your network connection or the server may have
been turned off.

Off-topic : Yes, Jabba', there are indeed a lot of chances that your current Router must ship with an embedded Material Firewall, but before following the above Way, I would wish you to provide me the exact Technical Specifications of this Network Peripheral Hardware, additionally to the Names of both your Logical Firewall and the Company having conceived it, such as ZoneLabs® ZoneAlarm® Pro, for sample...
