Conversion Pack 2.0 question

Post by JediMaster »

Yesterday i downloaded the Convertion Pack 2.0 and i were play it too.
But before i had the extreme Mod and there was a lot new Character by the Rebels and by the Empire.
Is it normaly that i just have got the standard Characters now?

(Sorry for my bad english; I am German)

And can I use the Characters of the Extreme Mod for t5he Conversion Pack, because the Extreme Mod Characters are Better!

Are you sure the Conversion Pack folder is inside your add-on folder? Have you previously donwloaded any other versions of the mod?

No, you can't replace the Conversion Pack legions by the BFX (Extreme) legions, however, there are some small sides mods out there that are compatible with the Conversion Pack, you should seek them out.

The Conversion Pack does not add extra units to the stock maps (e.g.: Coruscant, Mustafar).

It's called a side mod, and you can download them all you like, but they will break:
a) the Conversion Pack, and
b) online compatibility

You can download several "era mods," mods that add new sides to the game but retain online compatibility. Look for them on SWBFFiles, but this is not the place to discuss them since they have nothing to do with the Conversion Pack.

According to you, you already have Battlefront Extreme, so why do you want something else?

I guess he wants one of those side mods I mentioned before, the ones that are compatible with the conversion pack.

Anyway, here are the sides created by Delta-1035 for the Conversion Pack (all I could find):

Shock Troopers

212th Attack Batallion

327th Star Corps

That should be enough, follow the installation instructions, don't post anything on the 212th and 327th threads (they are dead) and enjoy.

Allow me to explain, inside a folder called "side", there are .lvl files called rep146th, rep42st, rep212th, etc. There is one .lvl file for each legion in the Conversion Pack, for instance, the rep212th.lvl is related to the orange 212th attack battalion, the repmarine.lvl is related to the Galactic Marines, and so on. What you need to do, is replace and/or rename these .lvl files by the .lvl files provided by Delta-1035 (remember to copy the old files into a backup folder, just in case something goes wrong), after that, the standard Conversion Pack legions should be replaced by the sides created by Delta.

Example: if you replace the stock rep41st.lvl by, say, the new rep212th.lvl, then the new 212th legion should appear in every map the stock 41st legion used to appear.

Yep, only because XL is a single player mode.
