Hi all,
I hope I'm posting this in the correct space.
Problem:
I can't play KoToR mode.
Some maps (like Concord Dawn) crash. (Suspected game mode: XL will also crash in some cases as another steam user had similar problems last year http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/s ... rsion+Pack)
Events:
I downloaded the Conversion Pack 2.0 today.
I installed my files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\star wars battlefront ii\Game Data
On instant action menu there was no KoToR Era selection, but the CW and GCW selection options were still there.
Selected all maps and started to play through them.
All new troops and heroes for the maps were working.
The game crashed on Concord Dawn.
Online gaming continues to work.
Solution:
A solution would be greatly appriciated!
Slick Samos

Re: Problems with Conversion Pack 2.0
The Concord Dawn crashing problem is common. It crashes because the game's memory can't support something that large. There's a chance it will work if it's the only map being played in the rotation or if it's the first. Other maps that do this are Alderaan and Methlyn, but they don't crash as much as their only memory issues stem from animations. Classic Conquest will also cause a lot of maps to crash, again, due to animations.
I can't imagine why KotOR isn't showing up. Have you updated the game to 1.1?

Re: Problems with Conversion Pack 2.0
Also be sure to install the v2.2 patch.

Re: Problems with Conversion Pack 2.0 [Solved]
Thanks Fusion for the additional information
Yes it is v1.1
And I will install the v2.2 when it is working! (As I seem to remember having a working version of 2.0 is step one in getting v2.2)
Concord Dawn did work when played by it self. (I loved the hovernaught!)
Played Kamino: Tropica City, Conquest, and it crashed during loading.
Edit:
This has worked so now have access to everything. However the new game modes and era are written as follows:
Classic Conquest is written as modename.name.bf1
KoTOR is written as common.era.k
I can manage, but are these fixed in the 2.2 patch?
EDIT
All sorted with 2.2.
Thanks to Teancum, Fusion, & Mav and the moderators and administrators of the forum!

[s]This could well be it... The files that I'm overwriting are smaller then Mev's, are from the game instalation, and are in CAPS. Is this correct?[/s]Conversion Pack v2.0 Help
1) Installation Errors
I installed the Pack fully, but I can’t see the KotOR era or any new game modes.
There is a small chance that the 1.3 Patch installed incorrectly. You should proceed to the Gametoast Conversion Pac forum (http://www.gametoast.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=39) and seek support there. In the meantime, there are backups of the files you need to make the new era and new gamemodes appear in GameData\backups. Copy all three files from there (ingame.lvl, shell.lvl, and common.lvl), go to your Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\DATA\_LVL_PC folder, and paste them in there (allow overwriting).
