Reviving the Christmas Map Competition idea

Post by SBF_Dann_Boeing »

I personally think it would be awesome if we had a Christmas Map competition. No one to my knowledge has even made a christmas oriented map before. If I remember I think Guru was up for the idea when it was posted earlier. Who likes this idea?

Linus and I were working on a Christmas map last year, had a fair amount done but we never finished it.

I'm all for it, but the Official Christmas Avatar Competition is about to start, one competition at a time...

This sounds like an intersting Idea. The avatar Competition is always fun (I already have my entry for this year)

the thing is is that this competition needs a lot more preparation than the avatar comepitition to make. I mean an avi takes all of 1-10 minutes to make, but a good mod map takes at least a couple weeks if not a month or so. So if we're gonna have it, it should be started soon.

maybe instead of reviving the competition, we should revive the actual Christmas Map project that was already started, or make a new project, or something.
