Before you think of any, jokes about "last minute pullouts" won't be allowed in this forum, however last minute map "pull-ins" (that's "entries" for normal people! ) are allowed. Anything that conforms to the rules is able to be entered right up until 23:59:59 tonight (that's Pacific Time US). Cheeky people in different timezones may get more time but stuff it, you should be asleep!

What've ya gotta lose? :)

Okay... so discounting the people who have thrown in the towel, and assuming that everybody else will PM Carbine before midnight, I'm counting eighteen different maps. Make room on your hard drives everybody!

yep  indeed! however guys at the minute hard drive space is seriously not something that should be a worry.

Basically we've had the same poor response to a contest as usual (expect this to be the last one). The initial interest ends up with a poor turn out, be it in terms of entries or voting. So in a last ditch effort to get some (even fairly basic) maps out of you I'll let you know that currently we have got only 4 confirmed entries.

People will undoubtably moan about the deadline etc... but all the staff felt that 60 days was enough especially as WIP's were acceptable. In actual fact you've had 64 days developement time, however before this turns into a bit of a rant, I should say that we're extremely greatful to those that have submitted their maps so far.

For everyone else, there are a few hours left, try coming up with at least something. Lets face it even the default map would come in 5th place at this stage.

Come on, the guys good enough to enter maps put alot of effort in to them, make it worth it.

My WIP is now in the competition.

NOTE: It is a very early beta (0.5), and there are still alot of bugs that need squishing.

ooo ouch 4 maps....i'm guessing people put off a good deal of those 64 days (i did myself but crammed a bit towards the last few weeks and got it finished Image) anyway at least we got some good entries from what u said regardless of how few they are. come on people a couple more hours, you can rap up a version even tho it may not be totally what you wanted it to be, i did that before with realm of chaos when i got sick of having to tone it down because it kept overloading the game Image

Anyway good luck to those people who are finishing up their submittions

So did the comp. finally end? If not, Elmo, can you attempt to finish Murdora? I'll be back next week.

I am in the process of adding the voting poll, voting will end 26th May. Update maps after that I guess.
