1. Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is the official title.
2. Penelope Cruz may apparently join the cast.
3. Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley are legit not appearing in this film (even though we already knew that).
4. The director is Rob Marshall.
5. Filming starts this summer.
6. The film will have a May 2011 release.
My guess is she'll be a love interest or a possible villain...
They're really making a 4th? IMO, they should have stopped at Black Pearl. Will and Elizabeth get together, and Jack dissapears into the sunset. After the first one, I think the whole series just went downhill. I know other people have varying opinions..... but I don't like Dead Man's Chest or At World's End much.

I enjoyed Dead Man's Chest but I did not like At World's End. Too long and too complicated. And too stupid.
I liked both of the sequels, the only thing I didn't like about the third one was that they had to kill Norrington. He was one of my favorite characters, stupid Bootstrap.

Spoilers
Hidden/Spoiler:
One reason I didn't like At World's End was because I didn't get why Lord Beckett let himself be killed. All I know is he muttered something like "bad for business". What is that?

He was repeating a line he said earlier: "It's just good business." The idea was that he was in shock, but it's a hard pill to swallow.

You mean he was feeling sorry for what he had done?

No, that he was beaten. Besides, there was nothing he could have done. Taking damage from both the Pearl and Dutchman meant no chance of escape.
Hmm. I seem to rememeber the boat Beckett was in had three stories of cannons on each side and that he had an army of boats much larger than what the pirates had. He just never gave the order to fire.

Because the whole boat was destroyed. Once the fire from the Pearl and/or Dutchman hit their gunpowder stashes, that was it. And everyone else is running about trying to escape themselves. Of course nobody will fire.
