(4)Kashyyyk: 607th Defense

Storyline: Darth Sidious is furious. The 607th Legion is giving the Republic too much of
an advantage in the war. Sidious knows he must destroy the 607th if his grand
scheme is to succeed.

He assigns Darth Armonus, once the leader of an underground Sith cult, to
destroy the 607th. Armonus leads the CIS to attack a Republic cruiser
carrying vital Republic supplies, which crash lands on Kashyyyk.

The 607th is sent to defend the crashed cruiser from the impending CIS
attack. Unknown to them, Darth Armonus has set the crash up as a trap to
destroy the 607th. This could be the 607th's toughest battle yet. Armonus is
cunning, powerful, and a brilliant military strategist. This time, the
607th may be defeated for good...

Why would he be angry with the legion? Wasnt the war created so that sidious can rule the republic and get anakin as his apprentice?

Did you read the entire first paragraph there? Also, don't forget, the 607th has that tendancy to disobey orders. ;)

Ok. This map is one of the maps I have enjoyed the most. The balance of the sides is good, and the REP really got to fight to win. One thing i noticed is that the REP carbine got the floating weapon on the screen and no weapon image. Also the Dark force droid is playable in the beginning. I havent played the map too much, but this is what I have now. Ill post more soon.

For bugs, in the most recent beta, the 607th officer uses the inspire enemies animation whenever he throws a grenade.

You dont need to worry about that. I think it is much better than before.

EDIT: Xavious, I forgot to take a picture of it, but you should take look at Vaks chaingun in 1st person. You can see right trough it.
EDIT2: Many of the health/ammo boxes is underground. I like the idea of using normal boxes as health and ammo.

I enjoyed this map a lot. Gameplay was good, and the new units on the CIS side were fun, but I recommend reducing the number of dark forces droids (I think that's what they were called; the ones with the lightsabers). At times it seemed like there were a few too many.

The only bugs I found were minor things that can be easily fixed in Zeroeditor:

From Action and fighting i Loved it much.I played it 6 Times in a Stretch.I mostly played through it as an normal Trooper or as Camo Commando.That i love from all Trooper Units mostly.I was so ingame ( :-) ) that i mostly forget to change the units.Great fast Gameplay.To fight at the BeachCP around that Kashyyk Barrack was very awesome.
Vaks and Zhaus are great like always but i rare used them here.You could lower Vaks FirePower and decrease the overheating Time.

What i also liked
The Orbital Strike from Vaks.
the Health and Ammo Dispenser.
The Toxic Droid.Best Droid ive ever killed. :)
The cool Sniper Place in that stump of the Tree.
The Sky and Backround

What i disliked:
Too much of Sith Droid. (like Eggman also wrote) I liked to fight against them but in general i didnt like to see Droids with Laserstaffs or Laserswords.A Magnaguard would be better.I personaly dont like this Unit.Think CIS Players love it.

You could add a Dwarf Spider Droid and an AT-XT.That would be cool.Eventually a MTT or Coreship added to the last CIS CP as Backround.
Set Reinforcements instead of 200/299 to 200/350 ;-)
Egman was a bit faster than me in posting these little Bug and there are some other at the first CP of the Reps.One Wood Barrier and Health and Ammo Dispenser are floating there.

I dont think you should set up the CIS reinforcement to 350. I think it is good as it is.

350 is what i think.
The Reinforcements on CIS Side are fast eliminated at the Beach CP.Only while using a normal Clone Trooper or the Camo Dude.But depends on Gamingstyle and Skill. ;-)

OnTopic:
I noticed, depending on the 7 Times i played it , that 4-9 Droids are at the End inside of the remaining Vehicles.The Battle is theoretical over but you need to capture the CIS CP or destroy the remaining vehicles to get a Victory.
The OG-9 / NR-N99 spawns needs to be lesser or the Ai should not use the Vehicles ,that much. :)
