Is the rarity of energy weapons gonna go up...Now that I think of it this also means the securitrons on the strip are going to be twice as deadly

Energy weapons are already pretty rare, there's really only three sources for them. Bright Followers, Fiends and the Silver Rush. However I have added a load more weapons that Fiends can use, so they use energy weapons a lot less frequently now.

I'm working on something else pretty awesome right now. All weapons will deal fatigue damage. Meaning that enemies can pass out from pain/blood loss before they die from their wounds. Additionally, I'm redoing the damage for the weapons by dealing only 60% of it upfront and the rest in bleed damage.

As an example, the 9mm Pistol does 66 damage per shot shot, so now it will do 40 damage a shot with 26 damage done over time. This is to tie in with the non-lethal damage, allowing people to pass out before they bleed to death. Or in the player's case, a better chance to use health items.

I'm less worried about the Brotherhood of Steel's energy weapons, and more worried about their power armor.

Though may God have mercy on your soul if a single Gauss rifle shot lands on you.

Hey guys it has been a while since I have posted anything here but now I'm facing a small issue. I just Bought Fallout 3 GOTY and now when I click play literally nothing happens. Any suggestions on how to fix this. Just some additional info I am running on windows 8.1 .

Update: So I went into the files and changed the compatibility to windows 8 and made it run as an administrator and now the message "The ordinal 42 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:/WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/xlive.dll."

I had the same problem, you have to change the amount of cumputer cores used to only 2 in the game file. And download a program called games for windows live.....this worked for me at least.

News!

Updates!

Tragedy struck!

Okay so, here's the long and short of it. My HDD died and I lost all of my Fallout mod. Will I ever restart it? Maybe, I'll probably redo the sound aspect of it at least (because playing with the stock gun sounds is awful).

That being said, I'm apparently working on some Fallout fanfiction that is meant to help clear up writing congestion when I'm working on my actual work. And to kickstart the story, I decided to do a little art of the main two characters. You can see it here. http://jameswulfmanplummer.tumblr.com/p ... y-upcoming

tl;dr not working on Fallout mod anymore and I'm writing a story set in Fallout which I will eventually put on this website and post the link to it here in this topic.

Brothers the hour has come at last. We will finally be able to play Fallout 4 in the upcoming months. I can remember when I had just first created this forum. I cant even tell you how many times I have watched the trailer over and over and over and over and over, the same goes for the game play footage. I am so happy I feel like crying a little bit :runaway: . If there is anyone who wants to discuss and theorize fallout please do it here I am excited to here all your opinions :D

** Also has anyone else become addicted to the new Fallout shelter app its literally running my life now.

Someone caught that there are gonna be cryo weapons. I feel like that kind of weapons would have like a freeze effect like it slows down enemies. Hopefully they will do something good with that!

Edit: Here's the proof of the cryo weapons

I think it would have a slowing effect as well, as cool as it would be to completely freeze attackers, it would be seen as OP

Mass Effect handles it fine. Only unarmored, unshielded enemies can be totally frozen. Otherwise they are just slowed down.
