Trying to get a pic's filesize to work

Post by CommanderFixer »

Alright, so I've seen a few people have pictures from Reach as their avatar. My favorite picture's filesize is 49 KB, but is there a way to make the filesize fit? Here's the image: Image

I always just use paint. Crop (if you wish), resize to the proper avatar-acceptable dimensions (varies depending on the website you want to use it for. Here it's 150x200), then save it as a .jpeg (or .gif if you REALLY want to trim the filesize down, but the pic will be slightly worse quality-wise).

If he's german yes, else it would be stretch. :P

What you could do is upload it and set the image as off site avatar in your profile.
