Private Messages
Hi,
it would be great to have a button replay all at the messages.

Re: Private Messages
Um. Why? How often would that even be used? The times the circumstances would arise that it would be practical to reply simultaneously to all private messages would be so few and far between that it's not really worth it to add that feature.

Re: Private Messages
Yeah, man. If you're only requesting this so that you can discuss your mod with your teammates, then you might as well use Xfire.

Re: Private Messages
Actually, yeah, you pretty much can... You can do anything with Xfire that you can with Gametoast's private messages. If it can't, then, well...

Re: Private Messages
don't understand your picture. and no you cannot. In xfire you need to be online to chat. on gt you can send the message and wait, till he come on

That's my strategy, sit all day and wait for a team member to come online *cough*Willinator*cough* then ambush them with messages!

Re: Private Messages
It's not that hard. You find out when people are online, and memorize their patterns. Figure out who lives in what timezone. Then you try to be online when they are. And it's Xfire, it just runs in the background. You can continue to do other stuff while you "wait."Anakin wrote: if you have the time and nothing else to do........

Re: Private Messages
Exactly, I just mod or go on gmail or something and when someone comes online I click on their name and open up a chat and continue to go about my business while talking to them.

Re: Private Messages
You can always just make a regular pm, and add multiple people in the address box. Then it get's sent to whomever you want.

Re: Private Messages
Jep, what Will said. Honestly a reply all wouldn't be worth guru or staff's time to make, adding a couple people's usernames honestly doesn't take more than a couple seconds.

Re: Private Messages
The GT PM system isn't great for long discussions. I'd recommend swapping email addresses for that. However, if you copy everyone's names and store them in a text file. Then easily copy and past them from the file into the "Send To Usernames" box. That will keep you from having to type everyone's name in every time.

Re: Private Messages
It would be more convenient. You know not everyone wants or has an xfire account just to send a simple pm. I just got a message from a cool guy i know and I have no idea how to send/reply back...its really frustrating and I strongly recommend adding this feature. If you guys use xfire, good for you, but im not a fan of it and...it pains me just to use that or something else just to reply back. I for one can see where anikan is coming from and it would be cool if this was even considered instead of suggesting "oh just go use something else". ._.

Re: Private Messages
The current PM system is already for sending simple Private Messages.TWINKEYRUNAWAY wrote:You know not everyone wants or has an xfire account just to send a simple pm.
You simply click the "Reply" button, type your message, and click the "Submit" button to send it. It's not any different than making/replying to a post or even creating a new topic.TWINKEYRUNAWAY wrote:I just got a message from a cool guy i know and I have no idea how to send/reply back

Re: Private Messages
I think I heard that you couldn't send PMs until you have three posts...so if that's true, you should be able to send messages now since you have three posts.TWINKEYRUNAWAY wrote:I just got a message from a cool guy i know and I have no idea how to send/reply back...its really frustrating and I strongly recommend adding this feature.

Re: Private Messages
Ah TWINKEY, I was wondering why you responded to my PM with an email.
Yes, you have 3 posts now so you should be able to PM now.
