The neck will look fine if used with the intended skeleton, so will the shoulders.

I tried to add this in as a custom side by itself. I made a completely new odf and stuff. It is ingame and works except i gave it the generic cis rifle, the sword, and thermal detonators, and it is having issues. The rifle works, but when I change the first weapon to the sword, I can't get the gun back. The thermal detonators show up as a weapon with the right amount of ammo, but I can't throw them. I didn't know if this had something to do with the model or not, but just thought I'd share.

The model isn't the problem.
I tried it too and the secondary weapon can't be used, but i can change from rifle to sword and from sword to rifle.
(by the way I can use the secondary weapons with the reload button, don't ask why xD)

I might of made a mistake in he odf somewhere. Maybe the other problem is a .combo issue.

if using the basic rifle, remember to add the award rifle, or make the basic one non award earning

yes, use reload to fire secondary, really weird i know, i thinks its just how the buttons are mapped in the ingame settings, and use force, doesn't match up with fire secondary

Heads a bit too small, shoulders are a bit disconnected somehow too I believe
(used a human skeleton, to go with disguise kit)

Nice work anyway though :thumbs:

(noob question, how do you use the override texture?

kinetosimpetus

BX commando update pack.

includes previously released BX Commando models.

contains a psd with a few options, sand camo patter taken from a screenshot of jendo7's Tatooine: Outpost.
the psd has all the skinning options for the droid, open in GIMP or Photoshop and save as TGA (if using GIMP, make sure RLE compression is off.)
updated skins for rust, camo, officer, and normal are also included as .tga

skins use a scratched metal texture from stock-textures.com

using bx_sound.lvl

place the file in
ADDON\***\data\_LVL_PC\Sound\

read in lua with
ReadDataFile("dc:Sound\\bx_sound.lvl")

anims, combo, tga for the sword are updated.

cis_1st_weap_inf_rifle.tga is modified by RogueKnight, and kinetosimpetus, the bx__1st_weap_inf_rifle.tga is a lighter version of the cis tga, made for the bx's E5 rifle.

bx_sniper_rifle.msh is the sniper rifle used by the BX Commandos and Deathwatsh in the TV show.

bx_1st_commando.msh is the bx commando first person msh made by Deviss.

File updated with a slightly newer msh and a couple textures. The eyes and red dot should now glow faintly. The link is the same, but it should now include a "cis_inf_droidcommando.msh" made in 2011 instead of 2009.

If you have already downloaded it, here's a smaller file that just has the new stuff.

He didn't. Dropbox made ALL public folders private. This is an issue with Dropbox. There are mods I've made for other games that I need to make share links to now because of their stupid decision to do this.

If I have it, I will make a share link on my own Dropbox for it so that everyone can have it again.
