Recon's Assets Pack

Post by Recon Trooper »

I was currently working on a new map called Derra IV: Danger Outpost but that never went ahead because the map crashed and I couldn't figure out what was wrong.

Anyway, I thought my assets could be put to a good use.
Allthough they aren't the best re-skinned objects you have ever seen but they are still good to use for some detail.

The pack includes a range from skins to custom skies.

I re-skinned many bespin objects to look like imperial buildings.

Here are some screenies of the imperial buildings-

I also included some skins-

And some cool looking skies-

This is 1 of 2 included-

(I saved the sky texture and made the background lighter and added the the kashyyyk mist. :D

Thanks and I hope you give it a download

Unless you made the sky textures yourself, credit the original creators please.

May I ask the name of that sky(the one shown)? So I don't get confused when trying to use that sky.

Well the folder is called 'Modern Day Sky' and the copy all the contents of that folder into your world1 folder.

In 'Modern Day Sky' folder there is a file called ABC.sky, rename that to your map's 3 lettered name.

Buildings are awsome. Sky looks good but it looks a little blured or stretched out to me. Most of the skins are good but on the plain colored black ones and the green one you could probably use diffrent shades of the same color to make it look more interesting instead of... bla...

EDIT
Sorry I look at the skins again and I see you did use some diffrent shades, but maby you might want to use some grey on the black clone and maby make the green clone brighter mabey... It looks a little plain to me.
