I don't know what animations you think you saw in Evolved or other mods, but the rifle and pistol animations used in Evolved were made by Kinetos Impetus. The only people who have those animations are him, Marth, myself, and anyone else that Kinetos might have shared them with.

Ah, never realized he released them. In any regard, we use a different (improved) version of them in our mods (including Evolved).

EDIT:

Alright, so it was the pistol animations (which are used in Evolved) that were never released.

I know for a fact that they're different because I'm the one who improved and exported them. I'm quite literally the only one who has the actual raw assets, I have never sent them to anyone and no one (except recently for Wulf and AQT via source control) has ever had any access to them. They look very similar, but they're not the same.

Yep, the left ones are the ones I`ve wanted to use for a while now. It looks very realistic and just overall cool. The right one is good, but the Galactic Marine in the picture there looks quite uncomfortable

So okay let's get started. A few months ago i sucessfuly reached Kinestos on youtube. I asked him to re-upload some trail effects. He accepted, this is why he replied on his thread:

His dropbox folder was working for a few days/hours (can't remember precisely) as you can see now the link is dead... In my opinion this is where Delta got the anim. - Or Kinestos released the anim to a few members? Maybe?

For those who remember when the dropbox link was working years ago, there was only the dc-15a anim. So, my guess is that when he uploaded the fx he also uploaded the elvoved anim, it can be a mistake from himself.
