So, after the Disney amendment of the EULAs of many games (details
here ) I did a port of the TFU Stormtrooper to SWBF2 (technically it's the TFU2 one but they're the same model). I did a few variants of the Stormtrooper based off the new EA game as well, including the Shadow Trooper and Shock Trooper.
Credits:
-Pandemic Studios for the mod tools.
-LucasArts for the original models
-Anakin for the Magmatrooper parts
-iamastupid for the Magmatrooper parts texture
DOWNLOAD
EDIT: Updated the link with the new Sandtrooper and prologue troopers.

Wow. Thank you for that pack
Did you add glow to the red light from the magma??
Since you seam to have much more time then me, my idea for magma pauldron: As you know from EA's BF it is attached to the arm as well and not only to ribcage. So try to make the pauldron being cloth. There is a parameter that will add the ability to stretch the material. That way it may look much better. But just an idea i wanted to give it a try, but don't have the time at the moment.

NICE! Man, it's so much more freeing knowing that the EULA allows for this.

After we are allowed to use all these great models, we NEED to make a Evolved 3.0.

Awesome! Thanks a lot for the release and very nice conversion.
Any plans on converting the evo and/or jump trooper? Those will look great next to these ones.

Wasn't the EVO already converted by Deviss a few years back?

It was indeed, but it looks like there's no link to it anymore. Probably because it was not allowed back in the days.

Great conversions! These will be used for sure. Did the hands come posed like that in the grip position or did you have to do that yourself?

Tharks for converting these, they are awesome! All they need is some maps.

I'm working on something similar.

I posed them that way, the original mesh has flat hands. The arms had to be bent slightly too.

Great job! Did you add specular maps? Might make them look even cooler. Nice job!

I've never done spec maps before. Not sure how to do them, to be honest. Though, I think there might be a specular map for them in the model files I could use.

If you have the original normal and spec maps, put the spec in the alpha from the diff and normal texture, use the material manager from ZETools, put the normal map's name in the slot 1 and choose rendertype 28

I added gloss to it and touched up the textures a bit. I'm pretty satisfied with the results (haven't done the other variants yet):
I'll release it if you guys want.

Done. Also included the screenshots from that post so people won't have to look far. Once again, thank you commanderawesome.
They may not contain even half the polys of the EA troopers but in my view these ones look just as good.

The ridge above the "eyes" is really pale - does it look like that in TFU? Keeps throwing me off.
