Loadscreen Comp

Convo pack had one too, so why not?

Anyone who's played DS will have noticed the maps all have the same, very bland, loadscreen. This was done mainly to save time. However, for version 2 it'd be good for each map to have a (could have more than one but it'd take up too much size).
Since I almost never run my BF2 copy at 1024x768 I can't really do this....so....anyone else want to?

Settings should be on:
Resolution: 1024 x768
Lighting: Medium
Water: High (just for the screens)
Shadows: Whatever you want.


Screens hould show off the MAP more than the UNITS.



To stop this topic getting spammed with hundreds of screens, max of two screens per map per member.
And please use hide tags.

Well loadscreens have to be 1024x1024 (I think) If you post a bigger pic I guess I'll scale it down.

Well loadscreens have to be 1024x1024 (I think) If you post a bigger pic I guess I'll scale it down.

I believe the dimensions for loadscreens just has to be a power of 2 (i.e. both length and width must be equal to a number that is 2^x). 2^10 is 1024. The next biggest dimensions possible would be 2^11, which would make the loadscreen have to be 2048X2048. I'm pretty sure very few people here, if any at all, have resolution close to that.

But, like you said, Skyhammer, you can just scale a larger screenshot down to 1024.

Umm...units in screens would be nice, they just shouldn't be "unit" glamour shots (ie main focus on unit)

I didn't even know the 212th was included in Dark Space. :P Neat shot, but yeah, it doesn't show much of the map itself.

Are...that's from UB:TCW. Maps for it are Purple, Maps for DS are green.
