Yoda Power
I couldn't decide whether or not to post this in media, off-topic or here.

It's funny just how much thought was put into it. I love xkcd.

I hear Kaminoans are really good at cloning. Just a rumor.

Re: Yoda Power
And apparently you can clone Jedi now, so have at it Kaminoans! :non-existent-kaminoan-smiley:
We really need one of those.

Re: Yoda Power
In TFU2, Star Killer is cloned (on Kamino). If you think it's too new and too stupid of a story, go back to 1997. The Last Command by my favorite author Zahn. He cloned Luke in that book. He even explained how you clone a Jedi without making them insane.

Re: Yoda Power
Yes, I have no problem with cloning Jedi, I just couldn't help but mention it considering some fans don't like anything that took place after 1999, coincidentally, this was started in 1997, so they can all shut up.

Re: Yoda Power
Yeah they really do need to shut up about that, I agree.
People need to read more Zahn. His classics and his new work. I've never read a book of his I haven't liked.

Re: Yoda Power
Yoda stated in Ep5 that size does not matter when luke failed to lift the X-Wing and said that it is too big, so some force-user could theoretically lift up the whole universe as easily as a grain of sand. However, what limits a force-users abilities seems to be, like in Luke's case, the own mind. thus, to move everything at will using the force one must not have an idea of size, weight etc., wich is somewhat impossible for any human (and seemingly also any alien) mind.
This could also be the reason why the jedi start training their younglings when they are still childs, because the mind of a child is not capable of accurately guessing somethings properties and doesn't know much about things like physics and logic.
Just some thoughts.

Re: Yoda Power
That's sound reasoning. However one way or another, this still measured his limits. Even if what you can lift is all in the mind, this is what his limit is.
Starkiller slammed a Star Destroyer against the ground. That'd be interesting to calculate. You'd have to factor in what amount of force it is applying to stay airborne in the equation as well.

Re: Yoda Power
Point is: Starkiller would generate more power than Yoda ever could. That's what I'm guessing. I'm no math wiz hah.THEWULFMAN wrote: Starkiller slammed a Star Destroyer against the ground. s well.

Random thought: Strength in the Force is directly proportional to disconnect from reality.JAWSFreelao wrote:Point is: Starkiller would generate more power than Yoda ever could. That would explain why Kazdan Paratus was so powerful.

I don't think that's quite it, but I do think you're onto something. It makes sense in an odd sort of way.GangsterJawa wrote:Random thought: Strength in the Force is directly proportional to disconnect from reality.

I think a completely force-developed Anakin would generate the most energy,as he's the chosen one. After him I can only think of Palpatine as he was the most powerful sith lord ever.

Re: Yoda Power
I just read this and it is very interesting. I think strength in force is like strength in mind. It's all in your head. You must believe.
Seeing since yoda's about 850 years old, he must be wiser than starkiller. If starkiller can lift a star destroyer, I'm sure yoda can too.
