Dark Times II: Rising Son
I've been working on this project for a while now (albeit at a slightly slower rate than its predecessor), but I did want to wait until I hit a nice even breaking point and got most of my assets in before I posted anything about it.
This is the "sequel" to "Dark Times;" while "Dark Times" was set in the period around the formation of the Rebellion, "Rising Son" is set in the period in between Episodes IV and V. Because it's now firmly entrenched in the OT, a lot of the notable figures will change (although of course some will stick around, like Darth Vader and the Emperor). Here's what I have tentatively planned:
-New heroes (nine so far) with hero support
-New modes (a conquest-analogue, maybe a campaign/Galactic Conquest, and probably some new wave modes)
-New vehicles (there are at least a couple different land vehicles I want to find spaces for)
-New maps (I had a couple map ideas that I don't want to make a huge production of, and they'll go nicely here - I also want to throw in a couple older maps of my own)
I know it's not a whole lot - yet - but more will come. For now, here is a short teaser:

So that's what that ceremonial Luke (the Rising Son?) model was for. It's sounding great so far. I had a feeling you were planning to do some sort of expansion and here it is, a sequel.

Ah, so this will be a new era as well as The Dark Times? Should fit with the CP still though.

But seriously, looks good (as always). Just a question from the trailer.....will the infantry be the same (practical wise not aesthetic wise) as the original DT infantry?

Wow, this looks like it's gonna be pretty amazing, as was the first. Can't wait to see/hear more! and I don't use that smiley any old time.

Probably. I know that I'm planning to make the basic three units for each side stay the same (with visual changes only).
