Hey! I love those mountains you found. I would totally make a base there.
To stop the lagging, try putting your graphics to 'Fast' while exploring. It might help some.
Keep it up!
Oh, and if you are ever in need of ideas, try doing a Nether Challenge thing, where you try and survive in the nether.

I saw you playing that earlier today and was like, "Ohhh yeahhh, my cousin plays that..."
When I'm done with Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, I might join you, it looks interesting and is probably a good warmup MMO for TOR.

As I said on the video which you haven't replied to, I have it. I'm about as far as you are, having gotten to Haven and not much else lol.

Nice video! I'm really enjoying your 1.8 discussions. However, I greatly prefer your Let's Play videos. Keep 'em coming!
EDIT: Guess what I found on another website:
Yeah, I thought it looked more like spike blocks after I posted, sort of like barbed wire.

Well, this is a bump. It's been a while (at least of me posting here on GT, but this is a pretty big question, and I figured the collective mind that is GT might have some knowledge of the subject, as I'm getting conflicting results from normal google searches. My videos have recently been becoming enormous in terms of file size (usually around 1.2 GB) which is ridiculous. I've heard that .avi is smaller without compromising quality, but when googling, I hear the exact opposite. Any idea which has better quality and smaller filesize (from experience if possible
)?

What filetype are you using currently?
I've seen that MPEG4s are the smallest that still maintain an aspect of quality to them. Granted, the quality is TECHNICALLY worse than .avi, as MP4s are a smaller filetype than AVIs, but (to me, anyway) it's not noticeable.

Hello there Gametoast!
I don't mean to bump, but this post is pertinent to the topic and underserving of its own post, so here goes:
I'm running for King of the Web. Funny joke. Still, I think it's worth a shot, and the cause is noble (as 50% of the money won goes to charity). Every user gets 10 votes that they can use every day, so you can vote for me ten times a day. I'd really appreciate it if you guys supported me (if you actually do - if not, don't vote!
) and pushed me up a bit: I'm currently 24th in gaming. I don't expect to win, but it'd be nice to try, and the publicity certainly wouldn't hurt. Anywho, here's a link:

Thanks for the support!
