Do you have a problem with Flash games Leviathan?

by Leviathan
It depends of the Macromedia Flash games we're talking of... For sample, Camper Strike is one of these "online games" which should be tried by everyone on GameToast...

So it's not that you don't like a game just because it's Flash based?

More or less, Sith'... Indeed, we can't really say that Macromedia Flash-based games have a chance to replace PC, Mac or consoles'... Furthermore, just think to the first *.SWF files' use : They were basically inserted on simple web-sites so as to make the browsing more interactive, and weren't intended to become "online games" at all !...

I know of a few game sites.
http://www.caiman.us is a freeware site,
http://www.gamemakergames.com is not a freeware site, but it has freeware games there,
http://www.allegro.cc is kind of like http://www.gamemakergames.com
That's all I can think of.

Oh yeah, Kight Online is back up. I got it and I'd give it about a 4/5. Its a great game with a lot of players, but if you dont have premium then you cant really log on until 2:00 (Pacific Time). However, it is still addicting and i cant stop playing.

While we are at it, GameToast members who would wish to get their hands down on a few free Star Wars-related video-games should equally consult this Google Results Page, since it refers to interesting and rather surprising stuffs...

Well, after having browsed some web-pages found through Google, I have succeeded in getting my hands down on "Open Source" video-games, and among all of them, I guess the following ones might interest most of the GameToast members viewing this post : Hopefully, I will be able to add brand-new ones as soon as possible, but in the meantime, have fun downloading and playing those I have listed above !...

Off-topic : DARTHVADOUR, ethannet, if you had consulted this thread's previous pages, you would have surely noticed that stand-alone games are highly favoured, instead of Macromedia Flash / Shockwave ones...

Anarchy Online is still free? I thought it was only going to be free until January 2006, or maybe it was 2007...I used to play it. Amazing depth. 4.75/5

the stargate wars looks alot like a cool game I used to play called Utopia by Swirve, you had control of a province and could create and magae an army to defend or atack other kingdoms(about 25 playr provinces would be grouped together to make a kingdom, so it was a team. Eac had its own forum). You could also send soldiers to explore land,on which you cld build all sorts of things to give you different benefits.

Off-topic : In fact, according to this web-page, FuncomĀ© Anarchy Online can be freely downloaded and installed on any Computer, but you willbe forced to upgrade the Account you will have created on the proper web-site in order to benefit from all the Expansions having been conceived and intended to this video-game, such as "Alien Invasion", "Shadowlands" or "Notum Wars"...

Well levi, even though the base client is/was free, they still harrass you to buy expansions(since you would have to pay for expansions). It's how they make money now I guess. I still get emails offering upgrade deals, and I haven't logged on in ages.
