My main character. She's a level 54, but she's super specialized how I want her to be.
Also, as you can see, my version of Skyrim is slightly modded. Mainly cosmetic stuff.

The Nexus is and has been a very strong community for many years now. Frankly the Steam Workshop is a nice idea on paper, but in reality people will prefer what they know, and that's the Nexus. Maybe the Workshop will kick off eventually, but I'll stick with the Nexus either way.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
really, the only leg up the workshop has is automatic installation, and automatic updates. Which is really nice, considering my laziness and that the game is still being patched occasionally. But there seem to be some mods and categories missing from the workshop, which is bothersome.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I don't know, I like the idea of having everything in one spot, ever since workshop has come out, I've uninstalled Nexus, and so far, I don't plan on going back. I'm confident that any shortfalls that workshop has right now will be added in the near future.THEWULFMAN wrote:The Nexus is and has been a very strong community for many years now. Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
t3h Workshop has a few mods that the Nexus doesn't that I use; with that said, I'd rather manually install most of these mods.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I have a good mix of both Workshop and Nexus mods. I do however prefer workshop because it is quite literally just a one button install.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Would people be interested in armor mods for the specific Legions? IE Stormcloaks and Imperials? Because I think it would be cool to have actual high level armor that only you can use that has the same color schemes and logos and stuff.

So we saved the world from Alduin just to throw it into darkness by ourselves? lol

But guess wich path the most players will choose. The one where you can hover around with cool wings and absorb other peoples life energy.
Happy 4500th post btw.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
It really sucks how we have to wait a whole month after the x-box guys get it. Curse them!

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
If you're on PC, don't complain about having to wait a month. It may seem unfair, but the PS3 guys are the only ones who should complain, because PC has mods, and lots of them.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I just hope they are crossbowy and not just bows with a different model. Means: more damage and range, but lower rate of fire than bows.THEWULFMAN wrote: I want a crossbow.
If that's the case I want one too.

I didn't think about it like that, but yeah, I guess we are better off.
