So what I got out of that was-
"We know you're mad, but some people liked it. Buy our DLC"

Oh and on the ending-
Hidden/Spoiler:
I pretty much agree with Tean. Destroying the Mass Relays (assuming it didn't kill everyone) puts the entire galaxy where humanity was before the start of the first game. And why was the Normandy making a Mass Relay jump?

Oh, and here's another plot hole. When they blew up a Mass Relay in the DLC Arrival, it destroyed an entire Star System. With this logic, every system with a Relay should be destroyed, including the Sol System.
Hidden/Spoiler:
Except Arrival was a giant asteroid filled with explosives. It could be assumed that the explosions at the end of the game were much more precise and controlled.

Eh, alright fair enough. I'll let that slide, it's a decent explanation. The rest of my complaints stand.

I'm 90% sure that they said that the destruction was the system was entirely from the destruction of the relays.

From a walk through for the Arrival mission
"If asked why destroying a Mass Relay would destroy the system, Kenson will say that they are the most powerful mass-effect engines in the galaxy and the energy released from destroying one would probably resemble a supernova. There are three hundred thousand people on the colony in the system, and the resulting explosion would probably kill them all."

Then I take back my earlier statement about explaining it away. It's still a plot hole, a large one.

Humans didn't build the Mass Relays, and given their inexperience with the technology it doesn't surprise me that they don't understand it (thus not knowing how to destroy them with a smaller impact). It's like a modder trying to tell the developer detailed specifics on how to fix a game they've never seen the source code for.

Hidden/Spoiler:
You can easily explain why the destruction of the relay in "the arrival" did destroy the whole system and the destruction of all the relays didn't: in "the arrival", the relay was smashed to pieces, releasing the energy of all the active processes in the relay. But at the end of ME3, the relays were destroyed in a controlled manner, by the entity that created them, so that could be why they wouldn't create all-ending explosions.

BTW, I also played through the whole trilogy with the same save and I also think the ending was very unsuitable.

Wait, someone correct me if I'm wrong as I haven't actually seen the ending for my own eyes(only read a somewhat detailed description), but aren't the Relays destroyed because of all the energy required to kill all the Reapers or did the Reapers do it out of revenge at the last moment? If the latter, wouldn't the Reapers want to kill all advanced life in the Galaxy? If the former, that doesn't sound controlled, it sounds like they overloaded.
I however plan to let this go, this detail is only a fraction of why I hate the ending(s).

This guy gets a bit... colorful (and thus I'm not going to embed this vid), but he has 10 completely compelling points that I'd say fit what we're talking about. Give it a listen, do so with headphones. He doesn't swear a ton, but he does drop the big one once or twice (which had I known I would have muted ahead of time).

I just watched this, he has some pretty good points and I agree. Funny thing is I'm not enraged about it like parts of the community.

@RED51: Same. With my battlefield burning man I named Frostbite who I can solo a brute pretty quickly. I love playing vanguard.

ANGRY JOE! Yes! I'm a big fan and respect his opinion greatly. He puts together every reason I hate these three possible endings. He mentions many things I've brought up before.

Oh, and I don't mind his swearing. :P The situation merits it.

Why the PEPPER not a happy ending? I couldn't have said it better.

BF3 Soldier? Pssshhht. Krogan soldier (or sentinel) is the way to go. I'm at the point where I've melee'd every enemy in the game to death except geth primes as a Krogan.
If anyone with Live is up for a few rounds, my gamertag is fluffytherc.

Krogans are boss. Haha, but I have yet to unlock him, hence why I'm playing with other classes.

When you unlock the krogan, make sure to use an adrenaline mod 3. A krogan using that is a freaking truck, lol. And adrenaline mod 3s are also hilarious on drell.

Argh! Not to be "that guy", but the plural for "krogan" is simply "krogan". For example, "Those krogan sure must eat a lot of cake." Sorry, I just had to point that out since a lot of people make the mistake. :funny2:
